Appellant, Larry Joseph Tillman, was charged with capital murder. Tex. Penal Code §§ 12.31(b), 19.03(a)(2). A jury found him guilty, and the trial court as sessed the automatic punishment of confinement for life in the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
