for the Court:

Alfred E. Harmon, Jr., an adult nonresident, alleged that Alfred E. Harmon, Sr., his father, sexually abused him between the years of 1977 and 1983. Harmon, Jr. filed a complaint for damages and named his father and his father’s insurance carriers, Northern Insurance Company of New York and St. Paul Fire & Marine Insurance Company, as defendants. The parties involved in this case are residents of the State of Louisiana; the alleged tort occurred in Louisiana; and the insurance contracts were issued in Louisiana.
