People Ex Rel. Schlaeger v. Ridge Country Club

The treasurer and ex-officio county collector of Cook county made application to the county court of that county for judgment and order of sale of lots and parcels of land returned delinquent for nonpayment of the general taxes for the year 1942. Objections were filed to certain rates levied by various municipalities. It was alleged in the objections that they were presented on behalf of persons, firms and corporations whose names appeared in the annexed schedule of lands, which schedule was made a part of the objections.
