In this case, the plaintiffs — all citizens of Bolivia — seek compensatory and punitive damages from Gonzalo Daniel Sanchez de Lozada Sanchez Bustamante, the former President of Bolivia, and Jose Carlos Sanchez Berzain, the former Minister of Defense of Bolivia.
