In this action, plaintiffs seek both compensatory and punitive damages resulting from defendant’s alleged wrongful acts *1069in connection with a contract for the sale to plaintiffs of a cooperative apartment. Plaintiffs are two physicians who entered into said contract with the defendant, the sponsor and selling agent of the cooperative apartment, on October 16, 1985.
