HALL, Justice.

Plaintiff-appellee Texas Steel Building Company and defendant-appellant Dietz Memorial Company entered into a written contract under which plaintiff agreed to provide the material and labor and make certain repairs and improvements to defendant’s metal building. Plaintiff was required among other duties to “furnish and install white acoustical spray insulation to the entire roof, walls, and all red iron, except crane beams, rails and columns, of [defendant’s] plant building to a minimum thickness of ½-inch throughout the job” and to “clean and wash down all plastic panel…
