Petitioner has been adjudged guilty of criminal contempt of court, fined $250 and ordered imprisoned for ten days. He is, and has been for many years, a member of Assembly of the State of New York, representing a Brooklyn district. The justice presiding at an Extraordinary Term of the Supreme Court, convened pursuant to the authorization and direction of the Governor of the State, found contempt to have been committed.
