¶ 1. Plaintiff Ebaristo Herrera, former principal of Black River Union High School, appeals from a jury verdict and judgment against him on his claim that defendants deprived him of due process under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 when the school district terminated his employment. This case went to trial after a previous appeal in which we reversed the superior court’s grant of summary judgment for defendants on this claim and a claim that defendants violated plaintiff’s employment contract and his statutory rights as a principal.
