Defendant Alexis Miranda-Ortiz (“Ortiz”) appeals from a final judgment of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, Michael B. Mu-kasey, Judge, convicting him on one count of conspiracy to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute more than five kilograms of cocaine, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 846 (1988); and one count of distribution of more than 500 grams of cocaine, in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 812, 841(a)(1), 841(b)(1)(B) (1988); and 18 U.S.C. § 2 (1988).
