A writ of mandamus is sought to compel the City of Park Eidge and its Mayor to approve a plat resubdividing a lot located within the City. The court overruled the Master’s findings and recommendations and entered an order granting the writ of mandamus from which ruling this appeal is taken.

George McGurn purchased the property involved on May 15,1956, and caused the title to be taken in the name of American National Bank and Trust Company of Chicago, as trustee, with himself as beneficiary.
