On February 2, 1901, Angelus De Yeager was struck and beheaded by a construction train on the Davenport, Rock Island & Northwestern Railway Company, at its crossing over Third avenue in the city of Moline. The administrar trix of saicl deceased brought this suit against said railway company for the benefit of the next of kin.
