Joseph Rogers, otherwise called Joseph Rodgers, and Stanley Brookman were tried by a jury in the criminal court of Cook county upon an indictment charging they had obtained $500 from Simon Tro jar by means of the confidence game, found guilty and sentenced to imprisonment in the penitentiary. Rogers prosecutes this writ of error.
