On July 14, 1960, plaintiff, the Federal Insurance Company, a corporation, filed its first amended petition in the Circuit Court of the City of St. Louis. It sought relief against defendant, Julian H. Zimmerman, Federal Housing Commissioner, in the amount of $1,345.20 with interest from and after demand and costs, or, in the alternative against defendant, Florence Branoweth, statutory trustee of the Royal Window & Awning Company, a corporation whose charter has been revoked, in the amount of $572.60 with interest from and after demand and costs, together with a special…
