This is an indictment for larceny, charging that the defendant did feloniously steal, take and carry away from the possession of certain “trustees of the New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad Company, Debtor, a corporation, two hundred fifty tons of steel rails, located on the property of” the trustees at Burrillville, in the county of Providence, and all of the value of $3800.
