Defendant was convicted of one count of criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree stemming from a multicount, multiparty, jury trial prosecution for commercial hazardous waste disposal crimes. The judgment was affirmed by the Appellate Division and a Judge of this Court granted leave to appeal.
