Following a jury trial held in Emmet Circuit Court, on March 20, 1986, defendant was convicted of one count of criminal sexual conduct in the first degree, MCL 750.520b(l)(a); MSA 28.788(2)(l)(a), and one count of second-degree esc, MCL 750.520c(l)(a); MSA 28.788(3)(l)(a). On April 21, 1986, defendant was sentenced to serve life imprisonment for the first-degree esc conviction and ten to fifteen years imprisonment for the second-degree esc conviction. The sentences were to run concurrently. Defendant appeals as of right. We affirm defendant’s convictions, but we vacate defendant’s sentences…
