MONROE, C. J.

Emanuel George Carter died in January, 1899, leaving a widow and five children, an olographic will, whereby he bequeathed to them (naming them) ail the property of which he died possessed, and an estate in community. The maiden name of the wife was Mary Ann Fagin; the children were named, respectively, and in the order of their births, Mary Vivian, Virginia Violet, Blanche, Lucy, and Georgia.
