In January 2002, Bettye Keating (“the administratrix”), acting as the adminis-tratrix of the estate of Maurine Brinson, deceased (“the decedent”), sued several defendants in the Walker Circuit Court, alleging various claims stemming from the decedent’s death in an automobile collision involving her Toyota brand automobile.
