The instant appeal questions whether the Board of Education of School District No. 67 (the Board) violated certain provisions of the Open Meetings Act (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1989, ch. 102, par. 41 et seq.) and the School Code (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1989, ch. 122, par. 1—1 et seq.) in the public sale of certain Board property to defendant Bernard Katz & Co., Inc.
