This suit was brought by appellees, Mary J. Jamison and Carroll Jamison, the widow and minor son of G. S. Jamison, deceased, to recover damages sustained by the death of said G. S. Jamison, which the petition alleges was caused by the negligence of the agents and employés of the appellant. The petition alleges, in substance, that on March 31, 1908, the deceased, G. S. Jamison, was in the employment of the appellant T. J. Freeman, receiver of the International & Great Northern Railroad Company, as fireman on a local freight train on said railroad running from Mart, Tex., to the city of…
