Daniel A. Williams, William Alexander and Robert S. Burch, being bound as sureties for Sidney R. Crenshaw, the latter, by a written instrument bearing date 24th of January, 1845, assigned to them all of his demands in the hands of Jasper M. Chapman, against persons living in the State of South Carolina, as collateral security for the payment of $567, with interest from the time of making the transfer.
