Robert E. Quinn, Chief Judge:

At a common trial with a Corporal Self and a Sergeant Leffew, the accused was convicted by a general court-martial in Korea of premeditated murder, larceny, and unauthorized absence. He was sentenced to death. On appeal, a board of review held that the accused was deprived of the effective assistance of counsel by the law officer's denial of a timely motion for a severance.
