JACKSON, Judge.
K.W. ("the juvenile") appeals from an order of the trial court entered 5 September 2007 adjudicating the juvenile delinquent. For the following reasons, we vacate the 5 September 2007 order.
The instant case involves injury to personal property, two automobiles owned by Lady Cummings on 13 May 2007, with which the juvenile was charged. The matter was referred to the North Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention.
