A jury convicted appellant, Jose Marvin Martines, of the offenses of sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child and assessed punishment at eight years’ confinement and ten years’ confinement, respectively. 1 Pursuant to an extradition agreement with El Salvador, the trial court sentenced appellant solely on the sexual assault charge.
