Ernest B. Eddington died intestate in Lake County, Indiana, on February 23, 1935, and Benjamin Creswell was appointed administrator of his estate. The administrator filed an affidavit in lieu of an inventory, showing total assets belonging to the estate of- $598.12, in cash. After this showing was made Hattie Eddington, one of the appellees herein, filed her verified petition herein stating that she and the deceased were married September 23, 1925, and lived together as husband and wife until the death of the said deceased February 23, 1935.
