The question in this case is whether or not the recording of certain instrumente in the office of the register of deeds was sufficient to charge the purchaser of a crop grown on rented land with constructive notice of the landlord’s lien.

This action is brought by the owner of the land against grain dealers who purchased from the tenant clover seed and corn grown on the land in question during the year in which they were purchased.
