Appellants Lawrence Robert Duncan and wife Margaret Jennie Gass Duncan were charged with possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance, diazepam, found in a search of their car. Mrs. Duncan was additionally charged with three counts of possession of controlled substances and two counts of possession of dangerous drugs relating to loose pills found in her purse, as well as counts of carrying a pistol without a permit and carrying a concealed weapon.
