Respondent White filed this suit in the Pemiscot County Circuit Court against appellants Alice Louise Teague, Carl Collier and Plaza Express Company, a Corporation, to recover damages for the death of his wife who it was alleged met her death through the negligence of appellants. The case was transferred on change of venue to Dunklin county, Missouri. A trial resulted in a verdict for plaintiff in the sum of $5,000.
