The suit is for damages in the sum of $5,550 on account of injuries which plaintiff claims to have received on December 21, 1937, around eight o’clock P. M., while riding as a passenger on one of the busses operated by the defendant company in the City of Baton Rouge as a common carrier of passengers for hire.
