I. FACTUAL BACKGROUND

On February 22, 1974, the senior class of Lincoln High School, Ellwood City, sponsored a “Donkey Basketball” game between members of the senior *525class of Lincoln High School and Riverside High School, a neighboring school. During the course of this game, an altercation broke out between several of the students from both schools who had been viewing the game from the stands. One of the participants in the altercation was the minor appellant, Michael Delisio.
