OPINION

CUMMINGS, Justice.

Danny Lee Haney appeals his conviction for murder. See Tex. Pen.Code Ann. § 19.02 (Vernon 1994). The jury found Haney guilty of murder and sentenced him to life imprisonment in the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. See Tex. Pen.Code Ann. § 12.32 (Vernon 1994). The jurors also fined Haney $10,000 as part of his punishment. Id.
