During all of the time herein material, plaintiffs have been husband and wife. They were owners and in possession of lot 4, block 2, Page’s Addition to Minneapolis, in Hennepin county, on April 20, 1921. On that day they entered into an agreement with F. W. Cardigan, doing business as the Twin City Construction Company, to remodel the dwelling upon said lot at the agreed price of $2,450, to be paid as follows: $450 down, the balance in monthly instalments of $25, commencing May 20, 1921, with interest at the rate of 7 per cent per annum.
