Appeal from Polla Circuit Cotvrt. . Action to foreclose a mortgage, executed by Helen A. Lewis and Olías. G. Lewis, her kusband. N. E. "Walsh and John M. Day were made defendants. Other parties intervened, claiming tliey were entitled to mechanic's liens on tbe mortgaged premises superior to the lien of the mortgage. On the 25th day of July, 1877, the defendants Helen A. and 0. G. Lewis executed eleven bonds, with coupons attached for the payment of the interest semi-annually, • said bonds and coupons being payable to Geo. P. Bissell, or bearer, at the banking house of Geo. P. Bissell & Co., Hartford, Connecticut. Said bonds were payable ten years after date, and to secure the same the said Lewises executed a mortgage on certain real estate to “ Geo. P. Bissell, trustee for the holders of certain bonds.” No question is made on this appeal as'to the correctness of the decree of the Circuit Court…
