CAILLOUET, District Judge.
This action, filed in a State court by plaintiff Harrison, citizen and resident of Louisiana, against the defendant, citizen-corporation of Delaware, was thereupon removed to this Federal court in due course, and was tried without a jury.
The plaintiff, alleging himself to be the true and lawful owner of a body of marsh lands situated in the Parish of Lafourche, Louisiana, of which he was in the actual physical possession, claimed that the defendant, Grandison Company, was slandering his title to said lands by asserting ownership to the oil, gas and mineral rights…
