¶ 1. Marjorie A.G., guardian of her disabled son Scott, appeals an order which denied her request to transfer her ward's property to a "Medicaid Payback Trust." She claims the circuit court erred in concluding that the transfer in question is not among those permitted by Wis. Stat. § 880.19 (2001-02), 1 which governs the authority of guardians to manage their wards' property. We conclude that § 880.19(5)(b) permits the proposed transfer because it is an "exchange [of] property of the guardianship estate . . . for the purpose of... providing for the ward's care." Id.
