Plaintiff-appellant and cross-appellee, Calvin Drier (Drier), owner of Rural Press, sued Great American Insurance Company and General Adjustment Bureau Services (GAB), Defendants-appellees and cross-ap-pellees (Defendants), contending (1) bad faith in the processing of an insurance *358claim and (2) a breach of a duty of care regarding disposal of certain finished business forms.
