HUNTER, Judge.

Marcus Smith (“petitioner”) appeals the superior court’s order affirming the dismissal of petitioner by the Richmond County Board of Education (“the Board”). We affirm.

The pertinent facts and procedural history are as follows. As of June 2000, petitioner was the principal of the Leak Street School. By letter dated 20 June 2000, the Superintendent for Richmond County Schools, Dr. Larry K.
