This case came before the Supreme Court on October 5, 2016, on appeal by the plaintiff, Mathew M. Cote 1 (plaintiff), from a Superior Court judgment, following a trial before a justice of the Superior Court sitting without a jury, that dismissed his complaint alleging breach of an implied contract, promissory estoppel, fraud, negligent misrepresentation, and unjust enrichment.
