Plaintiff St. Louis Trimming, Inc. brings the instant action for a declaratory judgment and damages against defendant American Credit Indemnity Company on a credit insurance policy issued by defendant to plaintiff for the period from August 1, 1994 through July 31, 1995 (“the policy”). By invoice dated July 19, 1994, defendant sought payment *100of the animal policy premium in the amount of $7,610.00.
