This is a class action consisting of 331 former students of the New York Institute of Technology (“NYIT”) who received letters from the Defendant Collecto, Inc., doing business as EOS CCA (the “Defendant”), in an effort to collect overdue tuition payments and purported collection fees. The named Plaintiff David Annunzia-to (the “Plaintiff’), on behalf of himself and the absent class members, asserts that these letters violated various provisions of the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act, 16 U.S.C. § 1692 et seq.
