OPINION
TIMMER, Chief Judge.
¶ 1 This breach-of-contract action arises from performance of a contract between the County of La Paz (the “County”) and Yakima Compost Company, Inc. and Yakima Company, Inc. (collectively ‘Yakima”) in which Yakima agreed to receive and process sewer sludge on county land for twenty-five years. The County appeals from a $9.2 million judgment entered after a jury returned a verdict in the form of special interrogatories in favor of Yakima.
