MEMORANDUM OPINION
DECKER, District Judge.
This is a patent infringement action by Siemens Aktiengesellschaft (“Siemens”), a German corporation, against Beltone Electronics Corporation (“Beltone”), an Illinois corporation and manufacturer of allegedly infringing hearing aids. 1 The patent in suit, U.S. Letters Patent No. 3,209,080, describes a hearing aid worn behind the ear having a frontally-directed microphone or sound opening. The patent originally was held by Siemens Reiniger Werke, which, on October 1, 1966, transferred all of its assets, including patent rights, to plaintiff. 2 The…
