STEINFELD, Judge.

James A. Toler worked on a farm in 1963 and had last worked in coal mines in 1964 after which he attended a small garden at his home. Thereafter he sought no gainful employment until he was employed by the Department of Economic Security of the State of Kentucky (hereinafter called Department) in the Unemployed Father’s Program. He had been working in that program for about three months, when on July 9, 1964, while he was riding on a truck carrying lumber, the load slid causing Toler to fall and be injured.
