1Opinion of the Court

This is an appeal from a denial of a motion for new trial based on the inadequacy of damages assessed by the jury. For the reasons hereinafter stated, we reverse.

On November 6, 1981, Dennis O'Daniels, a minor, was driving a motorcycle which collided with an automobile driven by Kerry McCants Bates. A jury awarded Dennis O'Daniels $750 damages and awarded his father, Edward O'Daniels $750 damages.
