The defendant appeals from the judgment of conviction, after a jury trial, of robbery in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-134,1 assault in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-59,2 burglary in the second degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-102,3 *22and larceny in the fourth degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-125.4
