Christopher P. Mace (defendant) was charged with the class B felony of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute in violation of § 195.211, 1 and with the class D felony of unlawful use of a weapon in violation of § 571.030.1(1). Following a bench trial, the court found him guilty of misdemeanor possession of marijuana on Count I of the information and guilty of unlawful use of a weapon on Count II.
