Defendant John Wright appeals his convictions on two counts of child molestation in the first degree, in violation of Section 566.067, RSMo 1994, for which he received consecutive two-year sentences. On appeal, Defendant asserts: (1) the trial court erred in overruling his motion for acquittal because the uncorroborated trial testimony of the victims was insufficient evidence to prove his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt; and (2) the trial court abused its discretion in imposing consecutive sentences, because, the court made clear it did so in order to punish him for…
