| ¶Rodney B. Jones appeals the denial of his motion for new trial arising from the dismissal of his medical malpractice action for failure to comply with discovery. We affirm.

Facts

Jones, at times pertinent to this action, was an inmate at the Dixon Correctional Center (“DCC”) in Jackson, Louisiana. 1 On October 1, 2007, he filed a medical malpractice lawsuit against LSU/E.A.
