The principal question raised in this case is whether the affidavits of three police officers established probable cause to issue a warrant to search the dwelling of the defendant for unauthorized controlled drugs. The defendant was indicted for allegedly possessing marijuana in an amount over one pound in violation of RSA 318-B: 26 I (c) (Supp. 1972). In advance of trial the defendant moved to suppress the evidence on the grounds that the search warrant was defective, and Johnson, J., denied the motion subject to the defendant’s exception.
