Samuel G. Kosanovich appeals from the order of the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County that affirmed the decision of the Retirement Board of Allegheny County (Board) denying his appeal from the' Board’s determination of his retirement allowance. Kosanovich questions whether the trial court erred in affirming the Board’s order, where the applicable statute requires that a pension for an employee in his circumstances be based upon what the employee would have been entitled to receive had he or she continued to be employed until age 60.
